Summer Fun!

We have had lots of fun this summer (not that it is over yet)! Here are some of our highlights so far...

Happy 4th

Hope everyone had a great weekend! We had so much fun at the Elders cottage. Addison loved riding in the boat, even though it was a bit chilly.

Tea Party

We are loving this warmer weather and being outside. Today we had a tea party out on the deck, so much fun to pour the water into all the cups over and over again. Hope everyone is enjoying this great weather!

Smiles

Gavin is getting so big! I can't believe how fast he is growing. We go for his 2 month appointment already today, oh how time flys.

With the nice weather we were able to get outside a bit. Addison is still working on the whole peddel concept. Hopefully by the end of the summer.

Gavin is such a cute kid, he has makes a ton of faces and hates it when he can't see what is going on.

Basement

Last week we started working to finish our basement, yea! We are going to have a living room, 1/2 bath, bedroom, and storage room down there. I am so excited to be able to take most of the toys out of our upstairs and put them down in the living room down stairs. Matts cousin came to help with the framing and realy did a great job. My dad has been doing the wiring and water and has done a great job. We really appreciate all the help.

Happy Birthday Addison

Addison's second Birthday was on the 27th, I can't believe she is two already! As you can see she is all about Disney Princesses. Her party even had a Princess theme. It was fun this year because she had a better understanding of what her Birthday was about. She loved opening all her presents and even helped Matt put together her new tricycle. We all had a great time celebrating her Birthday!

Big Sister Love

Addison is loving being a big sister. She loves to hold Gavin and is always bring him toys and setting them on him in his swing. She has much love for her little brother.

Gavin

Welcome Gavin Stewart Roosien, born Feb 18, 2009. He was 8lbs 7oz and 191/2 inches long.

Big Sister Addison is doing great, she is all excited about giving her big brother toys and kisses. Mommy and Daddy are doing great too.

Comming Soon

It is getting close to the time that we will get to meet the new addition to our family. No we are not having twins. Since we don't know if we are having a boy or girl I made a hat for each so we will be prepared. We can't wait to introduce the new little one to everyone!

Princess Addison

Addison's new favorite thing is to dress up in her princess outfits. She gets up from her nap and automatically says princess and goes to her princess trunk. Here are some of pics that came from our "princess photo shoot". :-)
