Merry Christmas everyone, the picture above is from the Roosien Christmas Party and no this horse was not a gift or come home with us, but the girls did love playing with it. The pic below is Matt teaching Addi how to make snow angels. This is the snow we had before the blizzard, we have gotten a ton more since and it is still comming down.

This is Addi's first snowman and I hear she put the head on all by her self.
Matt said she loved the snow and didn't want to come in. She followed him up and down the driveway as he shoveled it. They had a great weekend together and I had lots of fun with the girls shopping.
Our little lady bug loved saying trick or treat. She even figured out that if she stood there long enough people usually gave her a second piece of candy. Smart girl.
Her cousin Mikayla was Minnie Mouse and the pair got a lot of attention.
We went to the park for Mikayla's Birthday on Saturday and had lots of fun playing on the playground. Addi especially liked the slide and wanted to keep going up and then down. We had amazing weather...didn't feel much like fall.
We went to the July 4th parade in Marquette, the festivities totally wore Addison out. She didn't even make it back to the car before she fell asleep.
She wasn't so sure of the lake at camp but then Matt showed her how to float with out tipping forward and she liked it a lot more.
Lake Superior was a bit cold to swim in. Addison still loved running around and checking everything out.
You might not be able to read Addison's shirt real well, but if you could you would see that it says "I'm A BIG Sister". 
Addison got this pool for her birthday and we have been waiting for a warm day to get out. Today was perfect and we spent a lot of time outside. Our neighbor Noah even came over to join in the fun. Addison wasn't real sure about the water that "rained" down from the canopy. We had a great day in the sun!
Addison like to play along with Matt while he plays guitar hero. She even has her own guitar. Our little rock star in the making!
We had a great long weekend! We enjoyed having Aunt Jessie here also. She was a little camera shy and the one picture I did get she made me promise I wouldn't post. Addison enjoyed the park in downtown Holland. She wasn't so sure about the water at the beach, but that could have been cause it was a bit cold. Have a great week everyone!
This weekend the Roosien women went to UPBC's first annual womens retreat and had a great time. The guys had the girls for the weekend and took them to the zoo. The girls loved the animals and were realy excited about there new hats from Grandpa Roosien.
Matt did most of the painting because we quickly figured out that I was not the best painter. Oh well I was in charge of watching Addi, filling the paint tray and moving the drop cloth.
We had a great Easter! We had dinner at Matt's parents house and Addi got the cutest basket with her name on it and everything.
She love the little care bear we gave her for Easter and loved carring around her basket.
My parents came over yesterday for the day and we went to Fredrick Meijer Gardens to see the butterfly exhibit. All the butterfly's were beautiful. 
Addison was a little tired so mostly hung out with Matt and observed and the pretty flying around.
Grandpa and Grandma Black did bring her a special Easter basket. Addison loved all the little treats inside!
